Hopefully more certified coaches and instructors sign up. There is a recertification seminar coming up at Van Lawn Sept 20th put on by the Tennis Professionals Assoc. Those who had been certified should attend to remain listed as active coaches. Those who hadn’t won’t be listed as active by Tennis Canada and Tennis BC

    • Hi Allan,
Good Information, thanks for sharing. I will dig into the dates of this recertification program and prepare an announcement.

it was a hot summer 2014 in BC and many children attended summer camps to learn tennis fundamentals, and had fun too!

I love seeing kids have fun on the court while learning a new skill.

    • With the new compression balls and court size adjustments, we have seen a significant level of enjoyment in kids trying to acquire new skills.

I teach progressive tennis for the Toronto Tennis Academy at Leaside Tennis Club in Toronto.

    • Welcome to the Coache’s Corner Eva, your posts, videos, photos etc will be instrumental in getting your new progressive approach to Tennis out into the market, awareness and education is our mandate.
I will put you in touch with some of the coaches from our local community. Sylvie

  • Something I do a lot is what coaches used to do in the past. I actually play with my students. I do not hit winners. I wait for them to make mistakes and we normally hit from 10 to 20 balls per point.

    • I totally agree with your philosophy and approach. consistency as well as skill is required to see any Kind of success on court
